HISTORY
WELDING TECHNOLOGIES represent 30 years of experience in the Welding Field. The Company was founded in 1993 as a result of expanding demand for quality welding engineering services.

Close working relationship with major welding institutions in the World, such as E.PATON WELDING INSTITUTE (UKRAINE), WELDING INSTITUTE of RUSSIA, etc., allows WT to offer unique technologies and/or equipment to satisfy any the most demanding customer.

CURRENT RESEARCH
Currently WELDING TECHNOLOGIES is doing research on the Plasma Arc Spray coatings of the copper electrodes for Resistance Spot Welding. The goal is to acheive better life and anti-sticking characteristics of the electrodes when welding coated steel and aluminum.

New equipment from RUSSIA promises to extend life of the punches and dies in about (4) four times. Plasma Torch deposits very thin film of liquid carbon, whose properties improve wear resistance a great deal. Hardness cannot be measured, since the deposited film is only a couple of microns thick. Theory is not quite developed yet, but practical applications are unlimited !!!! If interested, please, submit a small sample (please, limit to one) and we coat it.
